As the summer winds down and we start getting ready for cooler weather, many of us are looking forward to fall. This is my personal favorite season, with the leaves turning colors, the pumpkin flavored everything appearing in stores, and the harvest ripening to full maturity. It is also the time of year that I really start canning items I want for the winter.
