Welcome Baby Chicks!

We welcomed our first baby chickens to our little farm in June of this year. I was able to get a catalogue from Hoovers Hatchery and pick out my baby chicks. Since it was my first time getting chickens I wanted a variety in order to experience several different breeds. I spent a few days going through the catalogue until it was dog eared and worn. In the end I picked out 15 chicks from 7 different breeds. I placed my order and then began much research in order to be well prepared for their arrival.
